What's the difference between the storefront tiers?
Starter ($29/mo) is a storefront only — up to 25 listings, a branded shop page, and a Verified Dealer badge (3% seller fee, same as everyone). Pro ($79/mo) adds unlimited listings, a rotating banner on category & browse pages, and drops the seller fee to 2.5%. Featured Dealer ($199/mo) adds a homepage banner and a featured newsletter sponsor slot, and drops the seller fee to 2% (the $99 cap still applies at every tier). Lower seller fees are a concrete perk of upgrading on top of the bundled ad placements.
Do I need a separate ad purchase?
No. Your banner ad placements are bundled into your storefront tier — there's no separate ad purchase. Upgrade to Pro or Featured Dealer and the ad slots unlock automatically. This keeps it one clear decision instead of pitching ads and storefronts separately.
Do I get my banner all to myself?
No — your bundled banner placements run in a shared rotation with other storefront dealers. Each tier is guaranteed a share of that rotation, so you always know you're getting real exposure. Any unsold space is filled with our own promos. We may offer premium exclusive placements in the future, but those won't quietly cut what current dealers get — your guaranteed share is locked in for as long as you stay on your tier.
What can I advertise?
Bass-gear retailers, luthiers, parts suppliers, string & accessory shops, and bass-focused online stores. All ads are reviewed before going live and must be relevant to the bass community.
How is billing handled?
Monthly subscription, billed in advance. You can cancel anytime and your storefront runs through the end of the paid month. No long-term contracts.
What's the founding dealer offer?
The first dealers to sign up get buy one month, get one free — on any tier. Your rate is locked in for as long as you stay. It's our way of thanking the shops that help build the bass community from day one.
What happens to the ad slots before dealers buy them?
We fill empty banner slots with our own promos so the site looks active and the space is working for the community. The moment a dealer upgrades to a tier that includes that placement, their banner takes over.
Can I use more than one image in my banner?
Yes. Upload up to 6 images and your banner becomes an auto-rotating carousel that crossfades through them every 5 seconds, with dot controls so shoppers can jump to a specific image. The first image is your cover — reorder the rest with the arrows in the Ad Builder. A single image still works perfectly if you prefer a static banner.
Can I preview my banner before it goes live?
Yes. The Ad Builder has a live preview with a Wide Banner / Compact Top Strip toggle, so you can see exactly how your creative looks in both placements before submitting. Wide banners appear on the homepage and listing pages; the compact strip runs across the top of the site and category pages.
